Himalayan Salt Lamps are made from pieces of Himalayan salt crystals. Combined with a light source inside the lamps, the chunks of salt produce negative ions which attach themselves to positive ions emitted from electromagnetic fields, fluorescent lighting, carpet, metal, plastics and air pollution are other sources of positive ions and neutralise and purify the air.
